Lindsey Keljo

Managing Director and Associate General Counsel, Head of Asset Management Group, SIFMA

Ms. Keljo serves as the Head of the Asset Management Group of SIFMA (“SIFMA AMG”), the leading trade association representing broker-dealers, investment banks, and asset managers in Washington, D.C. With a robust background in financial regulation and policy advocacy, Ms. Keljo champions the interests of asset management firms while navigating the complexities of the evolving regulatory landscape. Focusing on key issues such as systemic risk, reputational risk, market structure, and asset manager compliance, Ms. Keljo works diligently to ensure that the industry’s voice is heard in policy discussions. Beyond Washington, Ms. Keljo also engages on behalf of members with European and U.K. regulators and policymakers on a variety of topics with cross-border implications for global asset managers.

Ms. Keljo joined SIFMA AMG in October 2014 from Squire Patton Boggs, where she advised financial institutions, corporations, and asset managers on a wide range of financial services legislative and regulatory developments. She has extensive experience representing asset managers before Congress, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the U.S. Treasury Department, and other regulatory agencies that promulgate and implement financial regulations. Ms. Keljo began her career working for a major political party as a campaign manager, primarily based in northwest Pennsylvania.

Ms. Keljo is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and Mercyhurst University.
